Thomas Brian Speakman

Thomas Brian Speakman (Tommy), aged 51, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed from this life Saturday, July 17, 2021, at home.  Born August 15, 1969, in Van Wert, Ohio, Thomas grew up in central Florida where he met his fiancée, Angela Garner-Friday. He developed a deep passion for restoring cars and attending classic car shows. Tommy loved gardening and being outdoors, especially traveling out west, camping, and skiing. He enjoyed scuba diving, beaches, and the Caribbean life. Tommy spent several years living in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. He was always ready to help family, friends, and strangers.

Thomas will be thought of often, greatly missed, and loved dearly.

Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Harold & Almeda Speakman, and Russell & Carmen Gatton.

Remaining to cherish his memory are Tommy’s Sons: Jake and Nicholas Speakman (who shares his father’s love of cars);  parents: Patricia Speakman of Washington Court House & John (Helen) Speakman of West Jefferson; fiancée, Angela Garner-Friday (her children Johnathon, Christopher, and Savanna); sister: Tammy Jo (Michael) Glaze of Davenport, Florida; 3 nephews and 1 niece:  Christopher, Michael, Brittani & Matthew also of Davenport; cousin & best friend:  Charlie Allen Gatton of London, Ohio; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on his birthday, August 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Madison Mills Cemetery.
