Thomas Emery Timbrook, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018.  He was born December 17, 1940 in Wheeling, West Virginia. Retired Officer from Auto Club Insurance/American Commerce Insurance Companies; Attended West Liberty State College; Received his CPCU Designation from the American Institute and served as a Director of the Columbus Chapter, CPCU.  He held Statewide chairmanship for Education and Research for the Ohio Insurance Institute.  He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Served as a Board of Education Member of the Westfall Local School District for 28 years where he was on the Building Committee for the Elementary School and was instrumental in the development of the Memorial Park at the Elementary School.  An active member of the Derby United Methodist Church, he served on the Board of Trustees.  He coordinated the Deer Creek Cooperative Summer Worship Service at Deer Creek State Park. Preceded in death by Parents Raymond W. and Geneva B. (Kuhens) Timbrook; Sister Carol Ann Timbrook; Brother Donald N. Timbrook. Survived by Wife Harriette (Arnold) Timbrook; Children, Daughter Stephanie (John) Kleba, Son Mark Timbrook; Grandchildren Matthew Thomas Timbrook, Olivia Louise Timbrook, Hannah Kathleen Timbrook, Madison Anne Kleba, and Austin John Kleba; Brothers Robert N. (JoAnn) Timbrook of Georgia, Raymond Eugene (Dorothy) Timbrook of Shadyside, Ohio; Sister Joan Lee (Dole) Dolence of Valley Grove, WV. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  A Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 15th at 10:00 a.m. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.  Rev. Laura Clark officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery.  A Church reception/ celebration following at Derby United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial donations to WestfallEducationFoundation.org & Derby United Methodist Church, 11792 London Road, Orient, OH. 43146.
