Tommy Theodore Stage

Tommy Theodore Stage, age 69, of Five Points, Ohio died Tuesday, April 27, 2026 at 10:00a.m., peacefully at his home. He was born January 7, 1957 at Fayette Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House, Ohio. Tommy grew up in Era, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Virginia Stage, brother Frank Waites, sisters Hazel Conley and Jo Ann Williams. Tom is survived by his wife of 42 years Connie Stage, his children Tommy Lee Stage, John Furness of Springfield, Ohio, Tommy Furness of Georgia, Angie Hull of Williamsport, Ohio, and Michael Carpenter of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, mushroom hunting, cutting and splitting wood, and mowing his grass. Oh, yes, he loved thrift store shopping.

Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2026 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 (740)-869-2777 where his Funeral Service will be held at 1:00p.m. FRIDAY with Reverend Jim Blankenship, officiating. Tom will be laid to rest immediately after the service at Muhlenburg Cemetery, Darbyville, Ohio.
