Tony Ray Landrum

Tony Ray Landrum, age 67, of Fayette County, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home with his family and friends by his side on Monday, March 6, 2023.  He fought a valiant, long hard battle with cancer for nearly five years.  Born in Washington Court House, Ohio to Louise and the late Earl Landrum, he was a graduate of Miami Trace High School, Class of 1975.  Tony worked for 39 years as a mechanic with Air Gas Corp before he retired in 2019.  Tony was passionate about Blue Grass music and played the banjo.  He regularly attended the Blue Grass Jamboree in Mount Sterling.  In addition to his father, Tony was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Martha Woodrow and by his brother-in-law Dave Souther.  He is survived by his beloved wife Linda, who on this coming May 11^th would have celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary.  Also surviving are his mother Louise Landrum, daughter Michelle (Jarrod) Scott, son Shane (Teri) Landrum, grandchildren: Sydney (Nick McFarland) Landrum, Justin Scott, Tabby Landrum, Ryan Scott, Shalyn Landrum and Tate Landrum, his great-grandchildren Bo McFarland and Aidyn McFarland, his siblings Mike (Peggy) Landrum and Patty (John) Waddle, niece and nephews Chad (Shannon) Landrum, Jason (April) Souther and Jenni (Jimmy) Mercer and their families, his brothers-in-law Ron (Kathy) Woodrow and Gary (Traci) Woodrow, nephews Zach Woodrow and Tyler Woodrow, and many other loving family members and friends.

Family will welcome friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. FRIDAY, MARCH 10, 2023 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt.
