Virginia Rose Engel Reay, age 87, passed on June 28, 2017 at Meadow Grove in Grove City, Ohio. Born in Sugar Grove, Ohio September 25, 1929. Graduate of Mt. Sterling High School. She was retired from M/I in 1993.
Preceded in death by her parents Harold Engel, Mamie Cupp Dupler and Step-Father Carl Lester Dupler; Sisters Minnie Azbell (Edward), Millie Triplett (Raymond); and Daughter-in-law Linda Taylor Reay.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Harold Lewis Reay in 2014, after 65 years of marriage. They were the parents of Ginger Reay Griffith, Harold "Butch" Reay (Linda), Chris Reay and Timothy Reay (Pamela); 6 Grandchildren, Zackary Griffith (Brigitte), Wesley Griffith (Amy), Gretchen Griffith, Jason Reay (Tiffany), Seth Reay (Lisa), Jessica Reay Reynolds (Andrew) and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Special Nieces, Jeannie Azbell and Dwana Goodan. Sister-in-law Betty Cocklin, many Nieces, Nephews and Extended Family at Meadow Grove Transitional Care.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m
