William Herman Davis

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved father, William Herman Davis, of Columbus, Ohio. William passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025. 

He is preceded in loving remembrance by his devoted wife of 53 years, Patricia M. Davis, who now lies at rest by his side. William was also preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Katherine Davis, and his siblings: Mary Payne, Ray Davis, Helen Meyers, Suzzanne Lutz, Annie Davis, and Caroline Boyer.

He will be lovingly remembered and profoundly missed by his children: Daughter, Lisa Davis (Columbus, OH), Son, Keith Davis, Daughter-in-law, Sandy Davis (Marysville, OH), Son, Billy Davis, and Son, Mike Davis, William also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Nathaniel Davis, Kyle Sparks, Aaron Sparks, and Olivia Davis, as well as many beloved great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on WEDNESDAY, October 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, with the Funeral Service to immediately follow at 1:00 PM, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MT. STERLING, OH, 43143. Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH. 

Reception and Dinner:

A gathering with the family for appetizers and dinner will follow the service.

Location: Red Brick Tavern, 1700 Cumberland St, London, OH 43140

All friends and family are welcome to attend the reception, even if they are unable to attend the funeral service.
